In-Home Nursing Services

Costs limited to wages paid for nursing services for the care of an eligible individual’s (participant, spouse, tax dependent) medical condition is an eligible expense. Common services include:
changing of dressings
caring for wounds
monitoring vital signs
dispensing medications
monitoring and recording assessments
bathing or grooming

Immunizations

Costs associated with vaccinarions and immunizations including those required for overseas travel are an eligible expense.

Hypnosis

A health care professional must provide evidence of medical necessity for the cost of hypnosis to be an eligible medical expense. Include evidence of medical necessity by providing a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) that specifically identifies the recommendation and that the expense is for treatment of a medical condition with the request for reimbursement.

Hydrotherapy

A health care professional must provide evidence of medical necessity for the cost of hydrotherapy to be an eligible medical expense. Include evidence of medical necessity by providing a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) that specifically identifies the recommendation and that the expense is for treatment of a medical condition with the request for reimbursement.
