Homeopathic Care
A health care professional must provide evidence of medical necessity for the cost of homepathic care to be an eligible medical expense. Include evidence of medical necessity by providing a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) that specifically identifies the recommendation and that the expense is for treatment of a medical condition with the request for reimbursement. Treatment must also be perfromed by a licensed healthcare professional.
Home Diagnostic Devices or Tests
Costs associated with home diagnostic tests or devices such as home pregnancy or blood presure monitors are eligible expenses.
Heating and Cooling pads
The costs associated for a heating pad or pack and cold pack is an eligible expense as long as it is used for medical purposes.
